The biggest thing folks need to remember is this: always know exactly what’s covered and what’s not. That way there ain’t no surprises down the road.
Here’s how it breaks down:
First, you got our 1-Year Labor Warranty. This one’s on us – it covers the actual installation work we did. If anything goes wrong because of how we installed it, we come back and fix it at no charge for labor the first year. And yes, this is included in the estimate we give you.
Then you have the Manufacturer’s Warranty – usually 5 years standard, and it goes up to 10 years. Good news for us here in Florida: thanks to the new laws, you don’t have to worry about registering the unit anymore in most cases. It starts the day we install it and it even transfers if you sell the house. This covers the parts and it’s also included in your quote.
Now, if you want extra peace of mind, we offer our Worry-Free Warranties for 3, 5, or 10 years. These are optional, so there’s an extra cost upfront, but a lot of our neighbors choose them because they can end up being zero dollars out of pocket on repairs. They cover both parts and labor, and they’re transferable if you ever sell your home.
One quick tip from experience: no warranty covers dirty filters, lack of maintenance, or misuse. Keep your system well maintained every year and you’ll stay protected.
